Terms of use

These terms govern the use of OST Saver, a program that reads and converts .ost and .pst files inside your web browser, made by Officina Margotto and marketed by PIO SPORTS LTDA, a company registered in Brazil ("we", "us"). By using the program or activating a license, you agree to them.

1. Orders and reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payment and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

2. How the program works

OST Saver is loaded by your browser and processes files on your own computer. The files you open are not sent to our servers or to any third party.

3. Permitted use

You may only open and convert files that belong to you or that you are authorized to access, for example as an IT administrator with the approval of the company that owns the data. Using the program to access other people's messages without authorization is prohibited and may be a crime and a breach of data protection laws such as the GDPR. You are solely responsible for the files you open and for how you use their content.

4. Free version and licenses

• Free: full reading, and conversion of the first 25 messages of each folder.
• Per mailbox: full conversion of the mailbox identified at purchase, for 30 days.
• Personal: use by the buyer, for their own mailboxes, on up to 2 computers, with no time limit.
• Professional: use by IT professionals and companies, including on client mailboxes, for the period purchased (1 year).

Licenses are personal and non-transferable. Sharing or publishing a license allows us to cancel it without refund.

5. Taking care of your files

The program only reads the source file and never modifies it. Even so, keep a copy of the original until you have checked the PST it produces. Damaged files may contain parts that cannot be recovered.

6. Warranty and liability

The program is carefully tested, and you can check the result with the free version before buying. Apart from that, it is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any damage related to its use is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force is always on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
